		elcome This year marks our 28th season. We are a not for profit organization that brings high quality professional theatre to schools, libraries, and communities all over the 48 contiguous states. The Hampstead Stage Company's mission is to educate youth audiences throughout the country by bringing classic literature to life through live theatre, thus sparking an interest in reading the classics, instilling a love and appreciation of the arts, and preserving theatre for future generations. The arts are an expression of beauty, a mode of self-expression, and a means to explore other cultures and viewpoints. But more than that, the arts are a way to build self-esteem, teach critical thinking skills, and boost student achievement. Arts education can enhance children’s personal, social, and intellectual development. Unfortunately, the arts are far too often overlooked in the school curriculum—and left out altogether when budgets get tight. Bringing one of our cultural enrichment programs to your school provides your students with the opportunity to gain arts experiences.
