The plays last 1 hour and are performed by professional actors in full period costume, each playing several roles with emphasis on audience participation. Following the performance, a question and answer session is included. Workshops are provided upon request.

 The
Secret Garden
Frances Hodgson Burnett’s, “The Secret Garden”,
is an enchanting story about a young orphan girl, Mary Lennox,
who comes to live with her uncle in the English countryside. Through
her curiosity and determination, Mary finds a garden filled with
memories, that has been locked for years. Her youth and enthusiasm
breathe life into each character she meets, bringing love back
into the family. With this heartfelt story, we hope to share its
message of hope, healing, and friendship.

 Alice
in Wonderland
Lewis Carroll’s immortal classic, “Alice in Wonderland”,
is a wonderful tale about a young girl, whose boredom takes her
on a journey of the imagination, creating a wonderland of characters.
Through Alice’s imagination, ordinary everyday things become
extraordinary. The words on the page come alive as Alice recites
The Jabberwocky and learns how to overcome her own fears. Through
this story, we hope to encourage the students to enjoy using their
imagination and triumph over their fears.
