"Shakespeare for Kids III"
Experience William Shakespeare’s classics through his eyes. We meet the accomplished Bard and his wife Anne while he is working on “The Merchant of Venice”, “Macbeth”, and “Twelfth Night”. Through this romance, we experience Shakespeare’s everyday life and see his sonnets and plays acted out onstage. “Macbeth” is the central play of this production. It is a story of success, treachery, and jealousy and what those emotions can do to a brave but flawed individual. William’s words come alive with imagination, swordplay, and love. Through our play, we hope to introduce the students to more of Shakespeare’s works while encouraging them to cherish their families and overcome prejudice and jealousy in their own lives. This production stands alone and is the third in our Shakespeare for Kids Series. A teacher’s study guide is available.

Literary Resources: “The Merchant of Venice”, “Macbeth”, “Twelfth Night” by William Shakespeare.

In this quest, Merlin and the good King Arthur battle their adversaries, Morgan Le Fay and her son Mordred, for the rights to Excalibur and Camelot. The legend comes to life with history, humor, and swordplay. Through our production, we hope to encourage the students to stand up for what they think is right and to overcome their fears through bravery.
