I want to thank you and the Hampstead Stage Company for providing schools with an opportunity to see good literature in a good theatrical experience. Too much of the media available to young people today does them an injustice because it fails to do what Bonnie and John in Kidnapped did so well. They stimulated studentsþ imagination, evoked willing participation, and allowed them to laugh and be entertained while still presenting through the literature some value to be incorporated into their lives. The performers were gracious and unassuming an in inviting the childrenþs questions after the performance, handled them with knowledge, respect, and grace.
